NetroMedia Streaming Opens in Saudi Arabia | Mediacaster Magazine - Broadband & Content

NetroMedia, the Victoria, BC-based streaming media company, is opening a new client and technical service centre in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to support its expanding Middle East client base.

NetroMedia's Middle Eastern clients include one of the two most popular private Kuwaiti TV stations, Dar Al Watan, as well as Saudi company, IT City, which recently sponsored the global live streaming of Ramadan prayers to mobile.

NetroMedia enables content owners to stream and monetize media with delivery solutions for mobile, video, radio, live events and pay-per-view (PPV).

"It is wonderful to be working out of the region, as we have many longstanding client relationships there," NetroMedia's manager to the Middle East, Taher Altayeb, who will lead the new office, stated. "I'm also particularly excited to show new customers how NetroMedia can help them stream to all devices at once."
