A new mass distributed video communication service for individuals and corporations is making its debut in Canada.
The Ironroad Video Messaging Service application for smart phones and other portable media devices is currently available in the U.S., and elsewhere. It will be marketed by a subsidiary of Swedish developer Ironroad AB.
VMS is a video message service used between mobile users, video bloggers and companies that want to communicate directly with their audience via mobile phones.
The app can come with its own content as well as that created by users. It also offers an online portal for where created VMS clips are available on demand. Ironroad says companies and individuals can now sign up and make use of the online and mobile mediacasting service.
