Rogers Boosts Mobile Device Management Solutions Across Country | Mediacaster Magazine - Broadband & Content

Rogers Communications will offer new Mobile Device Management Solutions for iPhone, iPad, Android and notebooks to its business customers.

Rogers has announced a new service agreement with Montreal-based Trellia Networks, and it will offer to its business customers across Canada consolidated billing for mobile media device services, in addition to Rogers' other products and services.

The wireless provider will be billing business, government and municipal customers directly for Trellia solutions through its enterprise sales channels.

Mobile Media Messaging Service Comes to Canada | Mediacaster Magazine - Broadband & Content

A new mass distributed video communication service for individuals and corporations is making its debut in Canada.

The Ironroad Video Messaging Service application for smart phones and other portable media devices is currently available in the U.S., and elsewhere. It will be marketed by a subsidiary of Swedish developer Ironroad AB.

VMS is a video message service used between mobile users, video bloggers and companies that want to communicate directly with their audience via mobile phones.

The app can come with its own content as well as that created by users. It also offers an online portal for where created VMS clips are available on demand. Ironroad says companies and individuals can now sign up and make use of the online and mobile mediacasting service.

New Multi-platform HD Movie Service to Launch in Canada | Mediacaster Magazine - Broadband & Content

Hollywood Suite, four new high-definition channels, will launch across Canada this November, and be available on cable, satellite, mobile and IPTV.

The service will offer over 450 different movie titles every month on television - and a selection will be available on demand, on-line and on mobile or portable media devices from television service providers; subscription pricing and packaging to be announced closer to launch, channel operators noted.

The channels will carry commercial-free HD movies 24/7, uncut and unedited, as the exclusive home of movie channels from both Warner Bros. and MGM.
