@SocMediaCamp  June 8-9, 2012 for Canada's largest annual Social Media event in Victoria, BC.

Former rock and roll VJ turned blogger Erica Ehm will host the West Coast Social Media Awards.
Ehm will host the awards celebration Friday, June 8, 2012 in Victoria, B.C., and then she’ll take a turn at the podium as keynote speaker on Saturday at the Social Media Camp conference, held concurrently.
“The massive growth of social media parallels the revolutions in music. Everyone thought I was slightly off balance when I first started blogging,” Ehm says.

She launched YummyMummyClub.ca, an online community for mothers struggling with the reality of being a modern parent. “Then the nay-sayers realized that there was a digital audience craving lessons on how to keep the woman in the mom.”
YummyMummyClub.ca is the online social network that speaks to the woman in every mom, and her alternately funny and touching message is one of personal and social empowerment.
Ehm spent more than ten years on the ground breaking MuchMusic television program as a video jockey, becoming one of the faces of her generation. A songwriter, actress and playwright, Ehm’s career expanded into theatre, radio, song-writing, publishing and managing a digital media company.
